Natasha Cowan, Journalist, Major National Daily Newspaper

If everybody did Dru Yoga once a week, the world would be a healthier and easier place to live in.

H.T., Solicitor, Yorkshire, UK
Before I started Dru Yoga, I had pain in my neck and shoulders every evening. Now it's pretty much gone - and if it reappears I know how to get rid of it. Also, my sleeping is much better - before if I woke in the night I would like awake for hours. Now I just do some deep breathing and it helps me relax and go back to sleep - magic!
Dru Yoga has really made a big difference to me. I feel that it is a really useful tool to help deal with problems. Many thanks!
A.G., Former TV Producer
When I was first introduced to Dru Yoga and meditation I immediately felt something unique and special about the practice. It was like I had been introduced to a new part of myself, something pure and unchangeable. What I actually discovered was a part of myself I felt I had lost, but had always been there, patiently waiting to be found. Dru Yoga has the utmost respect for each individual's ability to transform themselves. With Dru Yoga's tools, I have been able to gain greater awareness about who I am and how I want to be in the world. This has helped me immensely as I've been able to make choices about how I can attain greater authenticity in my professional and personal life. The Dru Yoga journey has been a wonderful challenge and has led me to feel a greater sense of integration and ease.
John Kovacs, Film Producer and Executive Director, Candlelight Pictures, Australia
Working in high profile political, and public sector circles has given me the chance to pass on pressure and stress relieving techniques which I learned on the Dru Yoga & Meditation courses. Many of the people I meet are now searching for this relief. The gentle exercises & intention behind the Dru yoga moments still take me on a journey of discovery. A journey which flows throughout my body as I go through the day. Friendliness, contentment and happiness seem to be the result every time.
Mona Fairholme, Reflexologist and Yoga Teacher, W Yorkshire, U.K.
I would not know where to begin to share what positive benefits I have experienced in my association with Mansukh Patel and the Life Foundation organisation. Since meeting the people who make up this amazing organisation I have learned many things including the skills needed to become a Dru Yoga teacher. Dru Yoga is very effective tool for helping people to understand and be aware of their physical body, be aware, understand and learn how transform negative emotions. This alone is an enormous benefit, which I have experienced, as have the students I teach. We learn to be compassionate rather than selfish and everyone wins !!

The Teacher Training Course is of an extremely high standard. The tutors have an immensely deep knowlege of the science of Yoga and it is obvious that they practice what they teach. For me, the difference between the Dru Yoga Teachers and other schools of Yoga is that Life Foundation actually live and breathe their work rather than it being something they do separately. I have great admiration for their dedication to further the cause for bringing people the tools to transform their lives for the better.

I have found the members of the Life Foundation to be genuine hard working people who really do want to make a difference in the world and they do that by paying attention to the individual. I am always pleasantly surprised at where I find this. They seem to do their level best to walk their talk and be aware of the needs of others. Brendha Owen always has time to listen, Joan Groves is there, generously offering her remedies, Lynda Binks ever cheerful and helpful. Saraswati Clapham has been so supportive regarding my teenage daughters. The Dru Youth Team has helped them to discover their own hidden depths. The Youth Courses should be offered to all teenagers.

They are such a multi talented group that you can get advice about almost anything.

The one thing that stands out in my own mind above all else that I have learned and am continuing to learn is the art of loving kindness and the power of unconditional giving. I have only ever been shown kindness by all the people who I have met in the Llife Foundation. In particular Mansukh Patel has shown me HOW to be kind. His acute awareness of other people's needs is remarkable. He has shown me by his example, the many opportunities that exsist everywhere in every moment, when one can offer acts of kindness to others, just being aware of the people around you and what is happening. I do my best to put this into practice with my family, my students and all the people I come into contact with. By example we teach others. My family life has definitely been enriched by all things that I have learned. For me The Life Foundation are a group of individual people all working for a common cause: to change the world by giving people the tools to change themselves. This means helping people to overcome their challenges, remove fears and allow then to be all they can be.They are ordinary people doing their best to do extraordinary things and I feel they deserve all my help and support.

Catherine C., Yoga Teacher, Derbyshire, UK
I want to say an enormous thank you to everyone at the Life Foundation for the miracles you have worked in my life. I hardly recognise myself as the same person I was 6 years ago. The bouts of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem I used to suffer from on a regular basis have gone, to be replaced by increasing levels of self-confidence, and a joyfulness in life that I’d forgotten was possible.
The love, care and compassion that you show to everyone around you is something I’ve never experienced with any other group, and I think this is because you actually live what you teach. You treat each other and everyone else with great kindness and respect, even during the most difficult times, which results in everyone feeling positive about themselves.
You also bring an amazing sense of professionalism to everything you do, and as a group you really do combine an impressive array of professional skills. I think this mix of professionalism and compassion is quite rare. The peace walks, the peace flame, the work in war zones and all the other innumerable things you do to reduce suffering in the world, show clearly how your principles totally guide your lives, and your courses are without doubt the best I’ve ever attended – I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.
